Have You Experienced the CBC
eCredit Complete User Interface?
Please read below for the first of a series of messages exploring the features and benefits of the eCredit Complete user experience.
Many CBC subscribers access our products and services through integrated partner software and only see the credit report and compliance details delivered when pulling credit.
Others may use the eCredit Complete interface, but don’t take advantage or may not be aware of all the useful features and benefits available.
Today we will highlight some of those key features and benefits.
Let’s start with some of the Main Menu functions within eCredit Complete. The interface is designed to be user-friendly, fast, reliable, and contain all the necessary credit report and compliance tools to keep your business operating effectively.
Note: If you don't have a login to eCredit Complete, contact support @ 800-448-0183. It only takes a few minutes, and there's no charge or limit to the amount of users you may have.
Starting with New on the Main Menu, the "Applicant" screen appears where you can enter a basic 5-liner of information required to pull a credit or prequalification report. You may also enter additional information like previous address, and more. Employment information may entered as well, with monthly income amount changes tracked in an audit trail.
You can print all of this information to a full plain paper credit application (available by request) from the Forms menu or push to other application platforms from the Tools menu. Only need a basic credit or prequalification application form? You can print that as well (also available by request). That means you can eliminate the expense of purchasing expensive carbon copy forms and sloppy hard to read applications.
The Find screen is where you will locate applicants entered into the system via a web form submission, dms/crm/lead gen push, or manual entry. Clicking on the applicant name will recall the information to the Applicant screen for review or edit.
There are also two different Find screen views available. One view provides basic information and the other provides a more in-depth view, including the high credit score (if a bureau has been pulled) and compliance actions completed or not completed.
Look for the Compliance View toggle switch near the upper right corner of the Find screen. Contact CBC to enable this feature if you don’t see it.
Next, on the Forms menu, you can replace those expensive pre-printed Privacy Notices with a “safe harbor” non-opt out or opt-out notice. Both include the business/company name, date generated, and includes a signature line.
Do you pull prequalification reports? You can access the single page prequalification application here as well. Risk-based pricing/Score disclosure forms are also available.
Don’t see a form on your menu? Contact us, and we’ll happily assist.
The Credit menu provides access to all the bureaus you are subscribed to, with an optional Multi-Bureau Summary feature to help you speed up the report pulling process.
Did you know you are required to do an OFAC Name Search on cash buyers or buyers with their own financing? You can do it right from the Credit menu.
Need reports? The Reports menu includes many report choices with configurable search criteria. From credit activity reporting, adverse action reporting, to compliance exception reports, we have you covered.
The Tools menu provides access to Dealertrack and RouteOne data push tools (if subscribed), Adverse Action letter generation, and CBC’s “Lift Security Freeze” tool, allowing you to lift a consumer credit bureau freeze on the spot. Other tools such as Red Flag Program Template, Income/Debt Analyzer, and more are available from the Tools menu.
The CBC eVault is a powerful, exclusive feature of eCredit Complete. The CBC eVault is the only fully electronic document repository and audit log tool that stores all credit reports, compliance actions, CBC generated credit applications, forms, web applications, and also allows you to upload external documents from your computer for storage with the rest of the documents and reports.
Easily access older credit reports, red flags, AA letters, and more directly from CBC's eVault. Need specific information like what user pulled a credit report or who changed income information on the application? Access and print an audit log of any applicant with a few clicks.
To get more information on any of the topics covered here, please contact CBC @ 800-448-0183 anytime.
That’s all for now. Watch for part two, “Settings/User Control”, coming soon.
