eClear Credit Risk Report

Alternative Credit Data

CBC’s eClear Credit Risk Report is an “alternative credit data” credit report that is designed primarily for buy-here-pay-here dealers and automotive lenders in the sub-prime space. Powered by Clarity Services’ extensive consumer database, you can now receive valuable insight into the credit worthiness and risk level of your buyers based on alternative data not delivered with traditional credit reports. This enhanced consumer assessment will allow BHPH, independent dealers, and lenders to recognize potential risk prior to contracting a high-risk, bad payer.

In a world that is more data-driven than ever and a factor in driving this momentum can be best explained by a finding from an Experian survey: “70% of consumers are willing to provide additional financial information to a lender if it increases their chance for approval or improves their interest rate for a loan”.

This “additional financial information” is what we mean when we say alternative credit data. This generally includes data that is not found in a traditional credit report. This can include, but is not limited to, alternative financial services data, rental data, full-file public records, and account aggregation. Alternative credit data has already become a staple because it allows for better decisioning when determining credit worthiness.

Do you offer in-house financing? Then CBC’s eClear Credit Risk Report is the ideal solution for you. CBC’s eClear Credit Risk Report provides valuable insights into credit worthiness and risk and is powered by Clarity Services.

The eCredit Complete User ExperienceThe eCredit Complete User Experience

Many CBC subscribers access our products and services through integrated partner software and only see the credit report and compliance details delivered when pulling credit.

Others may use the eCredit Complete interface, but don’t take advantage or may not be aware of all the useful features and benefits available.

Today we will highlight some of those key features and benefits.
Let’s start with some of the Main Menu functions within eCredit Complete. The interface is designed to be user-friendly, fast, reliable, and contain all the necessary credit report and compliance tools to keep your business operating effectively.

Note: If you don’t have a login to eCredit Complete, contact support @ 800-448-0183. It only takes a few minutes, and there’s no charge or limit to the amount of users you may have.
eCredit Complete User Interface
Starting with New on the Main Menu, the “Applicant” screen appears where you can enter a basic 5-liner of information required to pull a credit or prequalification report. You may also enter additional information like previous address, and more. Employment information may be entered as well, with monthly income amount changes tracked in an audit trail.

You can print all of this information to a full plain paper credit application (available by request) from the Forms menu or push to other application platforms from the Tools menu. Only need a basic credit or prequalification application form? You can print that as well (also available by request). That means you can eliminate the expense of purchasing expensive carbon copy forms and sloppy hard to read applications.
The Find screen is where you will locate applicants entered into the system via a web form submission, dms/crm/lead gen push, or manual entry. Clicking on the applicant name will recall the information to the Applicant screen for review or edit.

There are also two different Find screen views available. One view provides basic information and the other provides a more in-depth view, including the high credit score (if a bureau has been pulled) and compliance actions completed or not completed.

Look for the Compliance View toggle switch near the upper right corner of the Find screen. Contact CBC to enable this feature if you don’t see it.

That’s all we’re going to show you here. To get more information, please contact CBC @ 800-448-0183 anytime.

ONLINE WEB CREDIT APPLICATIONS NEWSLETTERONLINE WEB CREDIT APPLICATIONS NEWSLETTER

The majority of consumers today use the internet to research financing options before they apply for credit. CBC offers two valuable online solutions that will turn your website into a powerful lead-generating machine. After years of research, CBC subscribers using our web application products have seen an increase of over 300% of qualified leads after implementing CBC’s online web solutions.

CBC’s Online Web Applications Solutions Overview:

Both eCredit Online (a hard pull credit application) and eQualify Online (a soft pull credit application) make it simple for consumers to fill out a short credit application before contacting a dealer, lender, or business. Both applications return a full file credit report to you, the subscriber.

Some of the key features of eCredit Online and eQualify Online include the ability to:

  • reside on your website in a fully-responsive iFrame. An iFrame is a frame that your website manager will place in a current or new “Apply for Financing” or “Get Pre-Approved” webpage. Also, adding “call to action” buttons, banners, and additional information built around the iFrame will increase interest and submission rates

  • send applicant information to any CRM or platform that will accept an ADF/XML format. Most software applications accept this format. Ask your salesperson or agent for compatibility

  • immediately send an email notification to the appropriate sales personnel stating a lead has been submitted

  • have an option to automatically pull a credit report, which is instantly available for review from CBC’s eCredit Complete

  • are entirely configurable providing the ability to add and remove fields as well as making specific fields required

  • are American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant

  • offer a FREE banner for Experian Boost. Click here to learn more

An important additional feature of eQualify Online:

  • eQualify Online entices consumers to enter just their name and address to get PreQualified for financing.  eQualify Online is a soft-pull solution that does not require a social security number or DOB, will not have an impact on a consumer’s credit score, and provides a full-file credit report

Automated Income Check Pay Stub

AUTOMATED INCOME CHECK NEWSLETTERAUTOMATED INCOME CHECK NEWSLETTER

Did you know most applicants “round” up or down when disclosing their income on a credit application?

  • 27% of applicants overstate their income by over 15%
  • 16% of applicants overstate by 50% or more
  • 20% of applicants understate income by 10% or more

AIC helps businesses gain a more accurate understanding of a consumer’s financial position by providing information such as employer name, employment status, time on the job, and employer-provided income; that is as recent as the consumer’s latest pay stub.

How can you determine affordability early in the sales process? What if you could have accurate visibility into a consumer’s financial position? You can with Automated Income Check or “AIC.” Verify income and employment information before you work the deal.

With this highly current and relevant insight, you can:

  • Instantly prequalify a buyer for financing
  • Help move deals forward with fewer complications
  • Confidently spot-deliver vehicles
  • Provide a better overall customer experience

In addition to confirming basic income and employment information, your business can view time on the job, which provides insight into repayment risk beyond what a credit score alone reveals. Equifax research shows that consumers whose time on the job is one year or less are almost twice as likely to go delinquent on an installment or auto loan compared to consumers who have 10 or more years at the same job.

In summary, you can:

  • Clear stipulations instantly
  • Streamline document processing
  • Improve consistency and customer experience
  • Provide paperless documentation
  • Receive information supplied direct from employers
  • Reduce fraud and borrower misrepresentation
  • Outsmart the fake pay stub
  • Verify applicant income at the time of sale
  • Access CBC’s eVault for later retrieval and review

If you are ready to offer a better sales and financing experience that helps you put the right customer in the right loan, right away, with the right payments they can afford, then Automated Income Check, powered by Equifax, is for you.

Contact CBC today to add this valuable verification tool to your hard and soft pull credit reports.

CBC Update Regarding the COVID-19 Outbreak
From the desk of Mike Green
I want to let every CBC customer know one thing… We are all in this together! CBC is fortunate enough to be able to maintain operations at 100% regardless if our staff works remotely or in one of our offices. We do not rely on third-party vendors to continue normal operations.

We have had provisions in place for years in the event of a catastrophe or now if a potential full “shelter in place” order is executed. Our systems are protected in multiple geographical locations with immediate rollover if a system fails. Your information is safe and secure.

The CBC family:

Being a part of the CBC family goes far beyond a business to customer relationship. We are all dealing with this crisis together and I want you to know we will work with you through this. In the event you are forced to close or limit business hours, CBC is prepared to assist in billable services such as monthly charges, web apps, minimums, and other inconveniences that may arise during this challenging time.

What’s our plan?

We have been contacted by many of our customers regarding what will happen if their business is forced to close or they are forced to work remotely. How will I be able to pull credit? We can assure everyone we are committed to making adjustments necessary to keep everyone operating and moving forward. If there is one thing you don’t have to worry about, it’s if this vendor has your back or not.

We do!

You have my word!

Dear Credit Bureau Connection Subscriber:

As a subscriber of Credit Bureau Connection, it is vital that you are aware of actions we are taking to protect you and our employees as the tragic Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the United States.

Our goal is twofold: To ensure we are maintaining consistent service to our subscribers and attending to any health concerns of our employees and their families.

To that end, we have increased the frequency and depth of cleaning that takes place at all of our facilities, and we have hand sanitizer and a wash station available for anyone entering or leaving our offices.

We have instructed our staff to follow the following guidelines, and we encourage you to as well:
